Wendy Maynard Named Interim VP of Nursing and Patient Services at St. Mary's Medical Center

Marshall Health Network-St. Mary’s Medical Center (SMMC) names Wendy Maynard, DNP, MSN-NA, FNP, RN, CSHA, Interim Vice President of Nursing and Patient Services.

Maynard recently held the role of Director of Quality and Accreditation, Infection Prevention, and Nursing of the Behavioral Health Services. She has worked at SMMC in a variety of roles from a nurse extern, med surg float, ICU, house supervisor, and director. She recently completed the West Virginia Healthcare Association (WVHA) 2025 Leadership Academy and brings 32 years of nursing experience to her new role.

Maynard received a BSN, MSN in Nursing Administration, post-master’s certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Marshall University.
