Wellness Blood Profiles
Each month, the labs of Marshall Health Network (MHN), which includes Cabell Huntington Hospital, St. Mary's Medical Center and HIMG, offers low-cost wellness lab screenings to the community at one convenient location.
The screenings are available Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to noon at the Cabell Huntington Hospital Professional Building, located at 1115 20th Street in Huntington. No appointment is necessary. Profiles are not available on holidays.
The labs at St. Mary's Medical Campus Ironton and Rivers Health also offer low-cost wellness lab screenings at different times during the year.
Profiles are available at St. Mary’s Medical Campus Ironton, 1408 Campbell Drive, Ironton ONLY during the months of February, April, June, August, October and December (except for holidays). Profiles are available Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to noon. No appointment is necessary.
Profiles are available at Rivers Health, 2520 Valley Drive, Point Pleasant ONLY during the months of January, March, May, July, September and November (except for holidays). Profiles are available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to noon. No appointment is necessary.
Lab work should be performed while fasting. Blood profiles include 29 different tests, such as glucose, cholesterol and calcium for $25.
Optional testing is available with the purchase of a blood profile for an additional cost of $5 per test for:
- Hemoglobin A1C (HbA1C): Measures your average blood sugar levels over the past three months to help diagnose prediabetes and diabetes
- Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH): Measures thyroid-stimulating hormone levels to determine how well your thyroid is working
Optional testing is available with the purchase of a blood profile for an additional cost of $15 per test for:
- Vitamin D: Measures the amount of Vitamin D in your body to determine if supplements are necessary to prevent health issues
- Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA): Measures the amount of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) to screen for prostate cancer
