Kaitlin Schaver named director of Hoops Family Children’s Hospital and Maternity Services at Cabell Huntington Hospital

Kaitlin Schaver, MSN, RN, CCRN, has been named director of Marshall Health Network – Hoops Family Children’s Hospital (HFCH) and Maternity Services at Cabell Huntington Hospital (CHH).
Schaver currently serves as clinical coordinator of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at HFCH and will transition to her new role throughout the month.
As director of HFCH and maternity services at CHH, Schaver will be responsible and accountable for the overall management of the children’s hospital and Maternity Center, including evidence-based clinical practice, education, professional development and day-to-day operations.

Under her leadership, we will continue to strengthen the services and programs that support mothers, children and families across our region.”
Schaver has more than 10 years of nursing experience, including PICU, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), management and education. She is nationally certified in neonatal critical care by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. Schaver received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Northern Illinois University.
