Marshall Health Network welcomes cardiologist Adee Elhamdani, MD

Marshall Health Network has welcomed cardiologist Adee M. Elhamdani, M.D., to its cardiovascular team, expanding access to specialized heart care for patients throughout the region.

Elhamdani is an interventional cardiologist, specializing in high-risk/complex coronary interventions, structural heart disease (valve replacements, ASD/PFO closures, Watchman implants) and peripheral vascular disease. He also has an interest in cardiac critical care, particularly mechanical circulatory support.

A graduate of the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, Elhamdani completed his internal medicine residency at Allegheny Health Network Medical Consortium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His cardiovascular disease fellowship was completed at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. He returned to Allegheny Health Network for an additional year of interventional cardiology fellowship training.

Elhamdani is excited to return to Marshall Health Network to practice and serve as an assistant professor at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. He is deeply committed to educating medical students, residents, fellows and other trainees.

In addition to his clinical practice, Elhamdani is actively engaged in clinical research. He has authored or co-authored more than 50 publications, with research focused on cardiovascular outcomes, particularly in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease.

Elhamdani has hospital privileges at both Marshall Health Network - Cabell Huntington Hospital and Marshall Health Network - St. Mary’s Medical Center. He is accepting new patients and referrals at Marshall Cardiology, a provider-based department of Cabell Huntington Hospital, at 1249 15th Street in Huntington, as well as at HIMG, a provider-based department of St. Mary’s Medical Center, at 5170 US Route 60 East in Huntington.
