Marshall Health Network Foundations will host the second annual PROACT Monster Smash Pickleball Bash on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Barboursville Park, starting at 10 a.m.

The men's, women's and mixed-doubles tournament will feature beginner, intermediate and advanced divisions, beginning with round-robin play and advancing to a single-elimination bracket. Space is limited to eight teams per division, with the top two teams advancing to bracket play. Divisions may be combined based on registration.

Check-in and tailgate setup begin at 9 a.m. Courts open for warm-ups at 9:30 a.m., and tournament play begins at 10 a.m.

All proceeds will benefit PROACT (Provider Response Organization for Addiction Care and Treatment), a program of Marshall Health Network that provides comprehensive addiction treatment by integrating behavioral, social and medical services for individuals with substance use disorder. In addition to addiction treatment, PROACT offers primary care and pharmacy services, supporting continuity of care and improved patient outcomes.

Costumes are encouraged, with a prize awarded to the best-dressed team. The event will also feature raffle prizes, T-shirts, snacks and beverages available for purchase. Grills, open flames and alcohol are not permitted.

Players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Registration closes at midnight Wednesday, Oct. 21, and space is limited.
