Culture and Belonging Committees
Both Cabell Huntington Hospital (CHH) and St. Mary's Medical Center (SMMC) formed culture and belonging committees in 2020 to facilitate the development of organizational culture and belonging initiatives and to champion the adoption and implementation of these initiatives throughout Marshall Health Network.
The committee's goals are to:
- Develop and recommend appropriate policies and procedures in furtherance of culture and belonging at CHH and Marshall Health Network.
- Set and review goals and objectives of the culture and belonging program and actively monitor progress.
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement to further diversity within MHN. Develop and recommend programs and education to educate the workforce and increase awareness for the purpose of creating and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
