Molly Frick, JD, has been appointed Interim Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for Marshall Health Network (MHN), effective Jan. 2, 2025.

A lifelong resident of Huntington, Frick brings over 25 years of professional experience to the role. She has served as the Director of Human Resources for Marshall Health Network – Cabell Huntington Hospital (CHH) for the past 10 years, where she led various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, leadership training, benefits administration, policy management and employee engagement. Additionally, she has overseen the Counseling Center, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy departments and has been a member of both hospital and system committees.

Before joining CHH in 2014, Frick practiced law as a managing partner at Bailes, Craig & Yon, PLLC, focusing on labor and employment, contracts, and healthcare law for 16 years. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa (OK) College of Law and a bachelor's degree from Washington & Lee University (VA).

Frick succeeds Susan Beth Robinson, JD, who is retiring after six years as MHN’s CHRO, and a long tenure as Vice President of Human Resources for Marshall Health Network – St. Mary’s Medical Center.

“We are grateful for Susan Beth’s professionalism, optimism and unwavering commitment to both St. Mary’s and MHN for nearly three decades,” said Paul E. Smith, JD, Chief Administrative Officer, MHN. “As one of the first members of MHN’s executive leadership team, her leadership has been invaluable as we work to unify our system. We wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.

Please join me in welcoming Molly to her new role as Interim CHRO until the arrival and onboarding of the new MHN President/CEO in early 2025. With her extensive expertise and experience, we are confident that she is well prepared to lead Marshall Health Network through its next phase of growth and success.”
